I live in Texas and have been buying kaffir/makrut limes from Pearson Ranch for several years. I use all parts of this specialty citrus a lot in my cooking. I am an Indonesian-French woman gourmet who loves fine exotic flavors. Their fruits are absolutely superb and very flavorful. They always arrive in great condition and I appreciate that the packaging is environmentally-friendly. This is my go-to source for specialty citrus and I don't intend to change. It is amazing what I am remembering now at 84 about my childhood. From the Deep South, I remember a neighbor who owned a Kumquat bush that she nurtured while her husband was off fighting the war. She cried every time she did so. Thank you for bringing these memories back through your wonderful, perfect Fukushu Kumquats.

For those curious about Pearson Ranch and their products. Read on: I stumbled across Pearson while searching for fresh Etrog/citron for an homemade fruitcake from a 100+ year old recipe. And that fruitcake calls for citrus juices and peels of lemon and orange along with candied citron. Needless to say, I purchased all the aforementioned ingredients. Thanks to Pearson’s produce, my cakes have gone to the next level. I have become a Pearson citrus junkie and purchase 30lbs of Navels to share with my friends and coworkers while they are in season.
