Are These Like The Ones Named After Big Japanese Wrestlers?

Yes, they are very similar in that incredible citrus flavor to the big bumpy citrus named after big, Japanese wrestlers ("Sum* Citrus"),  but these have a longer growing season, which means the Shasta Golds are usually available when the others aren't. 

When Are Shasta Gold Mandarins Available? 

 Shastas are a late-season variety of mandarin, usually available from March through June, depending of course on seasonal weather conditions and availability. 

How many pieces of fruit will I get in my order?

Depending on the available sizes of fruit at the time of harvest, we ship the largest ones we can with a minimum of at least 4 larger pieces that fit into a FedEx Medium size box. If we can fit more in the box without causing any damage, we will.
