Meyer Lemons are believed to be a "cross" between a regular lemon and a mandarin. They also tend to have a more smooth and "rounder" texture than your average lemon variety. After this wonderful citrus fruit was discovered in China, then brought to America, it seems that ever since, chefs and great cooks everywhere have rejoiced! And with their sweeter, less tart and abundant juice content, it is no wonder even the famous of the famous T.V. chefs and cooks sing high praises for the Meyer Lemon. So, as we here at Pearson Ranch like to say... " When life hands you lemons, make something fabulous!"

So What Exactly Are "Choice Grade" Meyer Lemons?

"Choice Grade" Refers to the fruit that has exterior blemishes from; wind, hail, ice, mechanical or possibly even pest damage, and the skin could even be a soft. But That's it! INSIDE is perfectly delicious, tangy and juicy, with all the wonderful flavor and color you look for in Meyer Lemons. So if you don't mind some imperfections, and you like saving a little money, and since we can't sell them as #1 Premium Grade, then maybe it's time to make the "right choice" with CHOICE Meyer Lemons from Pearson Ranch!

When are Choice Grade Meyer Lemons available?  Luckily Meyer Lemons are available most of the year, with the exception of periods in between crops, which of course will vary from season to season.

So how many pieces come in a 5 pound order? Depending on the size of the fruit at the time we fulfill your order, you should receive 16-18 Meyer Lemons.

Please use the "Free Shipping" option at checkout for this item.

I SEARCHED LARGE LEMONS

I SEARCHED LARGE LEMONS, SO I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING LARGE LEMONS. I WAS A LITTLE SURPRISED WHEN I OPENED BOX BUT AND SAW HOW SMALL THEY WERE,AVERAGE SIZE, BUT GAVE THEM A TRY AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE TASTE.

Hi Micheal, thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you enjoyed the taste of the lemons, even if they weren't as large as expected. If you ever choose (and we hope you do) to order lemons from us again, PLEASE let us know in your order that you want LARGE lemons, and we will try to ship you as close to the size of fruit that you are looking for. Thank you for your business.

I think my box contained about 25 lemons so I'm a happy camper

I think my box contained about 25 lemons so I'm a happy camper. All but one in excellent condition. I froze a bunch, juiced some and and am monitoring the rest closely since I can only use so many at a time. Growing up in the Bay Area, there was a Meyer lemon tree in almost every yard. Since moving to the mid-Atlantic they are almost never available. Glad to find this site.

Thank you Brenda for sharing your wonderful 5 star review. We're delighted to hear you enjoy the Meyer lemons, and that they help bring back some nice memories of growing up in the Bay Area. Thank you for your business and we look forward to serving you again!

I am happy with the Meyer lemons

I am happy with the Meyer lemons. I gave a 4 because out of the 18, 6 of them appeared smaller than I have been spoiled by. Won't keep me from ordering again. I love them.

Hi James, thank you for your honest review of the Meyer Lemons. We truly appreciate the feedback. One thing you can do on your next order, please put in the comments that you would like only larger Meyers if possible. We will do our best to make sure that we only ship you the largest ones we have available at the time of packing your order. Thank you!

Although the lemons weren't perfect (and weren't expected to be) they arrived in a timely fashion and were in excellent condition. They were perfect for making posset and lemon curd and I still have some to freeze.

Lovely Meyer lemons

This is the end of the season for Meyer lemons so a few of the fruits had soft spots. This was made right by staff and of course the rest of the lemons were perfect and large. I appreciated your help and the glorious fruits. I look forward to caviar lime season♥️

First time customer

First time customer, first time review. I realize I got end of season lemons, and a sale price. That I appreciate. But some of the little dickens were past their time. I had to get rid of them stat. About five. Otherwise these lemons are amazing. I must be on the list for in-season. They take baking to another level.
