When talking about California grown, Ororblanco Grapefruit, the name refers to the subtle "white" flesh of the fruit, because oro blanco in Spanish literally means "white gold." Though the technical name of the variety is spelled as one word (Oroblanco), it is commonly accepted spelled as two separate words. Either way, oroblanco or oroblanco grapefruit is a cross between a pomelo and a white grapefruit. Sometimes also referred to as a "Sweetie", they are indeed sweet while lacking the bitterness of a common grapefruit. With a thicker skin, they are as easy to peel as an orange, and filled with up to 110% of the recommended daily allowance for Vitamin C' in each one, you will be eager to start your day at the breakfast table ready to... "go for the gold!

Great Fruit, Great Service
I've ordered numerous times from Pearson Ranch and always received the best citrus available. Oroblanco Grapefruit
My recent order of Oroblanco was in great shape when it arrived. Am currently enjoying it every morning. Perfect flavor. The Oroblanco's remain fresh in my refrigerator. The only sad thing is they will be gone soon and will not be back until next year. Please keep growing them.

Definately worth the price
Having experienced Pearson's Ranch fruit, there's no way I could ever enjoy, or even be able to eat, fruit purchased anywhere else. There's no comparrison. If, by chance, there is any in the shipment that hasn't made it in perfect condition, they are more than willing to make it right.
