As the name would imply, Mandarinquats are a hybrid between a mandarin and a kumquat. Like kumquats, Mandarinquats are usually eaten whole, peel and all, however they do have several small seeds. Best part of Mandarinquats are how versatile they are. Think of all the great ways you can use them in your kitchen…you can eat them as is as a healthful snack, or sliced up in salads for that added “zing” of flavor. Of course they are awesome when used in preserves or purees. The juice can be used in marinades or cocktails, and even made into syrup. And think of how flavorful a vinaigrette salad dressing would be with that tangy citrus flavor. Yum-O!

I was so excited to receive my Mandriquats in the mail

I was so excited to receive my Mandriquats in the mail. There might have only been 2-3 pieces that were not good and I appreciated that they included contact information if I needed help with my oranges. While I didn't need to contact them due to the high quality of the fruit it was comforting to know that I could easily do so if I needed to. I feel confident ordering from them again and recommending the farm to others. The fruit was consistently juicy, tasty, and fresh as I followed the included instructions.
