Cara-Cara Navel Oranges. Looking for something unique and special for the ultimate citrus lover? Cara Cara Navels just might do the trick! And now you can get them in handy 5 lbs quantities! The outside looks just like an orange...however hidden inside, the Cara Cara has a surprisingly delightful "rosy-pink" color, but still has the same awesome flavor of California Navel Oranges that everyone loves! So where did Cara Caras come from? First discovered in 1976 at a place called "Hacienda Cara Cara" in of all places Valencia, Venezuela, Caras are a cross between the Washington navel and the Brazilian Bahia navel. And with their unique blend of color and flavor, it's no secret that Cara Cara's are becoming the new "FACE" of Specialty Citrus.

So What Exactly Are "Choice Grade" Cara Caras?

"Choice Grade" Refers to the fruit that has exterior blemishes from; wind, hail, ice, mechanical or possibly even pest damage, and the skin could even be a little loose. But That's it! INSIDE is perfectly delicious, sweet and juicy, with all the wonderful flavor and pinkish-orange color you look for in Cara Cara Navel Oranges. When are Pink Cara Cara Navels available? Cara Cara Navels have a rather short harvesting season. They are typically available from Late DECEMBER thru MAY. Due to their limited quantities and short season, annual market pricing will also vary from season to season.

The first item I purchased from Pearson Ranch was cara cara oranges, and this was 5 or 6 years ago. They are excellent and I continue to purchase citrus from them ... oranges, grapefruit and pomelos. The fruit is very good, packed well for shipping and always arrives here in the midwest quickly and in good condition.

Best oranges ever!

I have been buying Cara Cara oranges every time I find them (I’m in Ohio). When I couldn’t find them I went online and ordered directly. They were fantastic, sweet and juicy! They are always good but the ones directly from Pearson Ranch were over the top delicious! They were well worth the price! I will definitely order again.
