Meyer Lemons are believed to be a "cross" between a regular lemon and a mandarin. They also tend to have a more smooth and "rounder" texture than your average lemon variety. After this wonderful citrus fruit was discovered in China, then brought to America, it seems that ever since, chefs and great cooks everywhere have rejoiced! And with their sweeter, less tart and abundant juice content, it is no wonder even the famous of the famous T.V. chefs and cooks sing high praises for the Meyer Lemon. Items came inquickly and on time, as ordered. The lems were not at their peak ripeness, a little green, if you will. Not literally in color, but in ripeness. This allowed rime for ripening for maximum flavor, it also helps ro ensure items were in great shape on arrival.

The Meyer Lemons from Pearson Ranch were excellent and tasty and I commend them for staying in touch and letting me know when they were going to ship. When they arrived, I began peeling them for making Limoncello and squeezing the 2 squats of juice to make lemonade and freezing one jar. Excellent & Delicious. Audrey was very en pointe regarding communications between her ranch and me as customer, so a big Thank You to her!
